3-island route from Makarska — speedboat rental with or without skipper

Example route — suggestion
If you want island hopping towards Brač and Hvar, this is the most common suggestion from guests who book a full-day rental:
- Makarska — departure from harbour (west side, next to INA)
- Bol (Zlatni rat) — Brač's most famous beach
- Zečevo (Blue Lagoon) — crystal-clear sea and swimming
- Vrboska — charming bay on Hvar, known as Little Venice
- Pakomina — final stop before return
With skipper or self-drive
- With skipper (+€100): no licence needed — the skipper drives the boat and you agree on the route and stops together before departure
- Self-drive: valid boat licence required
Duration and price
The route is optimised for full-day rental (09:00–18:00). For a shorter day see the 5-hour route guide.
Rental price depends on boat and season — Jeanneau Cap Camarat from €150 / 5 hours, BMA X222 from €180 / 5 hours. Fuel is paid separately (on this route around 60 litres). Deposit €50 is paid in advance and deducted from the rental price — not refunded separately.
Which boat to choose
- Jeanneau — up to 6 people, open sports speedboat
- BMA X222 — up to 8 people, more comfortable for larger families and longer crossings
