Ogopogo offers rental of Jeanneau Cap Camarat and BMA X222 with a professional skipper for an extra fee of €100. The skipper drives the boat and you agree on the route and stops with them — the 3-island suggestion is popular among guests without a licence, but it is not the only option.
Your route agreed with the skipper: Routes in the guides (3 islands, 5 hours, Zlatni rat…) are only suggestions of what you can reach. The final plan — where, how long and in what order — you agree with the skipper before departure, according to weather, number of people and the group's wishes.
What the skipper includes
- Driving and navigation — you do not operate the boat
- Advice on anchorages, order of stops and safety — you choose the route together
- Briefing before departure and agreement on the sailing plan from Makarska harbour
Fuel is not included in the rental price — paid by consumption, same as self-drive.
Who needs a skipper
Guests without a valid boat licence must take a skipper. We also recommend one for first-time rental, larger groups or when you plan a long crossing towards Hvar.
Price — example for 5 hours
- Jeanneau: €150 rental + €100 skipper + fuel (by consumption)
- BMA X222: €180 rental + €100 skipper + fuel (by consumption)
- Deposit: €50 (paid in advance, deducted from the rental price — not refunded separately; with skipper too)

Self-drive as an alternative
If you have a licence and experience, you can save €100 and pay only rental + fuel. More in the first rental guide.
Booking: State number of people, date and rental duration — agree on the route with the skipper before departure. If you have preferences (e.g. Bol only, or full 3-island suggestion), mention them in your enquiry.
